We continue to effectively manage through the pandemic,
singularly focused on keeping our residents and care partners as safe and prepared as possible. We receive near-daily updates from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), American Health Care Association, World Health Organization, and state and local health departments, and incorporate that guidance into our best practices. Our highest priority is protecting our residents, our care partners, and our communities from exposure to this virus by a measured, science-based series of interventions that range from PPE usage to rapid testing to evidence-based care.
The latest such intervention is the distribution of COVID-19 vaccines.
We work closely with state and local entities to ensure that our frontline care partners are among the first to receive the vaccines as vaccine distribution continues. More than half of our care partners have received the first dose and a quarter of those have received the second dose and the booster.
Since the onset of COVID-19 in 2020, our communities have continued to care for our long term care and skilled residents.
Despite the many challenges that the pandemic presents, Mission Health Services continues to deliver upon our vision of providing hope, healing and recovery to the residents that we serve.
