Administrators

The primary purpose of this position is to direct the day-to-day functions of the facility in accordance with current federal, state, and local stand-ards, guidelines, and regulations that govern long-term care facilities to assure that the highest degree of quality care can be provided to our residents at all times.

Education and Experience Requirements
  • A Bachelor's Degree is necessary. A degree in Public Health Administration or Business Administration, or a health related degree is preferred but not required.
  • Experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital or long-term care facility.
  • Must possess a current, unencumbered Nursing Home Administrator's license or meet the licensure requirements of this State.
  • Attend and participate in educational programs to maintain the best and most current techniques available to this department’s service as directed.

Director of Nursing

The primary purpose of this position is to plan, organize, develop and direct the overall operation of our Nursing Service Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility, and as may be directed by the Administrator and the Medical Director, to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.

Education and Experience Requirements
  • Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Preferably will have, as a minimum, 3 years of experience as a supervisor in a hospital, long term care facility, or other related health care facility.
  • Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in this state.
  • Attends and participates in educational programs to maintain the best and most current techniques available to this departments service as directed.

Registered Nurse

The primary purpose of this position is to provide direct nursing care to the residents, and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. Such supervision must be in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility, and as may be required by the Director of Nursing or Nurse Supervisor to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.

Education and Experience Requirements
  • Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved RN program.
  • No experience needed, on-the-job training provided.
  • Attends and participates in educational programs to maintain the best and most current techniques available to this departments service as directed.
  • Evidence of completion or willingness to complete the nursing supervisory course if required by state law.

Licensed Practical Nurse

The primary purpose of this position is to provide direct nursing care to the residents, and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. Such supervision must be in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility, and as may be required by the Director of Nursing or Nurse Supervisor to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.

Education and Experience Requirements
  • Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
  • No experience needed, on-the-job training provided.
  • Attends and participates in educational programs to maintain the best and most current techniques available to this departments service as directed.
  • Evidence of completion or willingness to complete the nursing supervisory course if required by state law.

Regional Accountant

The primary purpose of this position is to oversee the Accounts Receivable process for designated facilities and assist the BOM with other accounting issues. Responsibilities include: Review month end reports, review facility resident trust account bank reconciliations, ensure cash receipts reconcile to bank statements, review miscellaneous cash receipts, continually review AR for problem homes, ensure AR agings equal the balance sheets on a quarterly basis, review therapy invoices/pharmacy etc. to ensure proper Medicare billing, monitor processes for proper billing for Medicaid, Medicare, private and co-Insurance billings, ensure timely reporting of credit balance reports, and provide guidance to BOM regarding accounting procedures.

Payroll Specialist

The primary purpose of this position is to process semi-monthly payroll for designated facilities and to process Accounts Payable invoices according to established policies and procedures. Reconcile vendor accounts ensuring accuracy and responsible for the monthly processing of vendor payments (by check). Reconcile insurance accounts, garnishments, and miscellaneous other deductions, ensuring the accuracy of all payments.

Business Office Manager

The primary purpose of this position is to direct the overall administrative activities in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, and as directed by the Administrator, to assure that proper administrative procedures are maintained at all times.

Education and Experience Requirements
  • Must possess, as a minimum a high school diploma. (AA Degree in Business Administration preferred but not necessary.)
  • Must have, as a minimum, one year experience in bookkeeping or accounting practices. Experience in healthcare accounting preferred, but not required.
  • Must have knowledge of insurance procedures, contracts, etc., covering business transactions.
  • Must have knowledge of office machines and equipment.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

The primary purpose of this position is to provide each assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident's assessment and care plan, to maximize their potential in a manner conducive to their comfort and safety and to assure that the highest quality of resident care can be maintained or as may be directed by your supervisors.

Education and Experience Requirements
  • Must possess, as a minimum, an eighth grade education.
  • Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with laws of this state and listed on the nurse aide registry as a Certified Nurse Aide in good standing.
  • Attends and participates in educational programs to maintain the best and most current techniques available to this departments service as directed.

Maintanence Supervisor

The primary purpose of this position is to plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Maintenance Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing our facility, and as may be directed by the Administrator, to assure that the facility is maintained in a safe and comfortable manner.

Education and Experience Requirements
  • Must be knowledgeable of boilers, compressors, generators, etc., as well as various mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
  • Must have the ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Must be knowledgeable in building codes and safety regulations.
  • Attends and participates in educational programs to maintain the best and most current techniques available to this departments service as directed.

Dietary Supervisor

The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Dietitian in planning, organizing, developing and directing the overall operation of the Dietary Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing our facility, and as may be directed by the Administrator, to assure that quality nutritional services are provided on a daily basis and that the dietary department is maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner.

Education and Experience Requirements
  • Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma.
  • Be a graduate of an accredited course in dietetic training approved by the American Dietetic Association.
  • Must have, as a minimum, two (2) years experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility, or other related medical facility.
  • Must have training in cost control, food management, diet therapy, etc.
  • Attends and participates in educational programs to maintain the best and most current techniques available to this departments service as directed.

Dietary Aide

The primary purpose of this position is to provide assistance in all dietary functions as directed/instructed in accordance with established policies and procedures, applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations; and as may be directed by the Dietitian, the Dietary Supervisor and/or other designated supervisor (i.e.: cook), to ensure quality food service is provided at all times.

Education and Experience Requirements
  • Must posses, as a minimum, a 10th grade education.
  • On the job training is provided.
  • Any combination of experience and training which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities.
  • Attends and participates in educational programs to maintain the best and most current techniques available to this departments service as directed.

Houskeeping Supervisor

The primary purpose of this position is to plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Housekeeping Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing our facility, and as may be directed by the Administrator, to assure that the facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner.

Education and Experience Requirements
  • Must possess, as a minimum, a 12th grade education or its equivalent.
  • Must have, as a minimum, one (1) year experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital or other related medical facility.
  • Training in environmental control practices and procedures preferred, but not required.
  • Attends and participates in educational programs to maintain the best and most current techniques available to this departments service as directed.

Housekeeper

The primary purpose of this position is to perform the day-to-day activities of the Housekeeping Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing our facility, and as may be directed by the Administrator, and/or the Housekeeping Supervisor, to assure that the facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner. The housekeeper coordinates daily housekeeping services with nursing services when performing routine cleaning assignments in resident living and/or recreational areas.

Education and Experience Requirements
  • Must possess, as a minimum, a 10th grade education.
  • No experience needed, on-the-job training provided.

Environmental Service Supervisor

The primary purpose of this position is to plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Housekeeping/Laundry/Maintenance Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing our facility, and as may be directed by the Administrator, to assure that the facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner.

Education and Experience Requirements
  • Must possess, as a minimum, a 12th grade education or its equivalent.
  • Must have, as a minimum, one (1) year experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital or other related medical facility.
  • Training in environmental control practices and procedures preferred, but not required.
  • Attends and participates in educational programs to maintain the best and most current techniques available to this departments service.

Certified Medication Aid

The primary purpose of this position is to assist in the administering of medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician, under the direction of the attending physician, the nurse supervisor or charge nurse, and the Director of Nursing. The administration of medications shall be in accordance with established nursing standards, the policies, procedures, and practices of this facility, and the requirements of this state.

Education and Experience Requirements
  • Must possess, as a minimum, a high school education.
  • Must be listed on the state nurse aide registry as a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with laws of this State.
  • Current valid certification as a medication aide in the State.
  • Attends and participates in educational programs to maintain the best and most current techniques available to this departments service as directed.

Restorative Nursing Assistant

The primary purpose of this position is to provide rehabilitative and restorative care to residents to maximize their potential in a manner conducive to their comfort and safety under supervision of a licensed nurse/ or therapist. Plans for rehabilitation/restorative care will be directed by specialized therapists or nursing and will be part of the resident’s plan of care. The position operates within the constraints of established policy and procedure consistent with accepted/legal standards of practice. The Restorative Nursing Assistant performs restorative/rehabilitative care and services (ambulation, gait training, range of motion, self feeding, and other activities of daily living) with residents as indicated in the individualized plan of care.

Education and Experience Requirements
  • Must possess, as a minimum, a high school grade education or its equivalent.
  • Must have graduated from an approved Nurse Aide Training program. Must have a valid nursing assistant license/certification in the state as evidenced by the listing on the Nurse Aide Registry.
  • On-the-job training provided by a Physical Therapist /or licensed nurse.
  • Attends and participates in educational programs to maintain the best and most current techniques available to this departments service as directed.

Nurse Consultant

The primary purpose of the corporate Nurse Consultant is to monitor and implement clinical systems in long-term care facilities. Responsible for ensuring facility nursing departments are operating in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. Ensure the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. Travel required.

Education and Experience Requirements
  • Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Preferably will have, as a minimum, 5 years of experience as a supervisor in a hospital, long term care facility, or other related health care facility.
  • Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in this state.
  • Attends and participates in educational programs to maintain the best and most current techniques available to this departments service as directed.

Corporate Dietician

The primary purpose of the Corporate Dietician is to provide long-term care facilities with the required dietary programs in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations. Insure each facility is meeting these guidelines consistently.

Education and Experience Requirements
  • A Bachelor's Degree is necessary in a related field.
  • Experience as Dietician and/or Dietary Supervisor in a long-term care facility.
  • Must possess a current, unencumbered license or meet the licensure requirements of this State.
  • Attend and participate in educational programs to maintain the best and most current techniques available to this department’s service as directed.

Regional Administrator

The primary purpose of this position is to direct the overall operations of the facility in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern long-term care facilities to assure that the highest degree of quality care can be provided to our residents at all times. Monitor the efficient and effective operations of long-term care facilities.

Education and Experience Requirements
  • A Bachelor's Degree or comparable experience is necessary. A degree in Public Health Administration or Business Administration, or a health related degree is preferred but not required.
  • 5 years experience as an Administrator in a long-term care facility.
  • Must possess a current, unencumbered Nursing Home Administrator's license or meet the licensure requirements of this State.
